AN ACT To provide for the conservation of endangered and threatened species of
fish, wildlife, and plants, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, ø16 U.S.C. 1531 note¿ That this Act may be cited as the ''Endangered Species Act of 1973''.
